AN AERONAUTICAL EVENT
To all SMARS Members:
Please mark your activities calendars for Friday and Saturday September 7 and 8, 2007.
We are looking for volunteers to help with setting up on the 7th and manning a
SMARS trailer on the 8th for the:
BROOKS FIELD HISTORIC FLY-IN and DRIVE-IN
It is being held at Brooks Field (Marshall Airport) in conjunction with the Marshall Historic Home Tour.
Events and participants include: a pancake breakfast from 8 to 11 AM;
contemporary and vintage aircraft, war birds, air show, fly-overs, classic cars, remote control aircraft
and skydiving demonstrations.
Aircraft rides will be available for a small fee.
Picnic areas and restrooms are readily available.
Brooks Field is located at 1243 S. Kalamazoo (Old US 27) in Marshall,
between Alwyn Downs Golf course and the industrial park.
We would like club volunteers to help set up on the 7th and then be available to start operating and demonstration our wonderful hobby starting at 8 AM on the 8th. Hours of operation will be 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
